What are the reception hours?
Monday to Friday, 8am – 2pm.
What types of rooms do you have?
Although there are single rooms, they offer a possibility of providing an additional standard-sized bed for another guest. The second guest also has his or her own desk and wardrobe available. Each room has its own air conditioning, internet access and a toilet.
How many people can you accommodate in total?
We have 16 single rooms, 15 of which have the option of a standard size extra bed, so we can accommodate a maximum of 31 people.
How do meals work?
Meals are prepared in our kitchen on the same day. They are organised in a buffet-style. The water is drinkable.
Bed & breakfast is out House basic offer. Half-board, full-board or coffee breaks are available by prior reservation. Food and drink in rooms is not allowed.
What about smokers?
Due to health reasons and because of the risk of fire, smoking is strictly prohibited on our property (both in the House and in the park).
What are the cleaning rules for the House?
Guests are requested to bring their own slippers while staying in the house. Shoes are left in the lockers on the ground floor. There is a separate locker with a key for each room.
Food and drinks are not allowed in the rooms. Guests are responsible for the hygiene of their room throughout their stay in our House. For a stay more than 7 days, the room will be cleaned by our staff, subject to prior arrangement at reception to determine the exact time of cleaning. Should you need an extra clean towel, please contact the reception during opening hours.
Is the House accessible to people with physical disabilities?
Yes. We have a room specifically designed for people with physical disabilities and a lift. The entire House is accessible to wheelchairs no wider than 80 cm (=standard door width).
Is it possible to cook?
No. In the dining room, however, a machine for coffee and other hot drinks is available.
What about washing clothes?
The house does not offer this possibility.
Is internet available?
Yes, in our house there is a free wi-fi connection for guests; you can ask for a password at the reception.
Are sheets and towels included?
Yes, they are included, as well as a hairdryer.
Do you speak foreign languages?
Yes, we speak English (& Italian on request).
Is it necessary to be a Catholic/Christian to come to you?
Although we are a Catholic institution, our House is open to everyone, regardless of their religion.
How can I reach the House?
The House is located in the centre of our capital city and is therefore easily accessible by all means of transport. To find your way more easily, see our page The Surroundings.
Is there parking lot for those arriving by car?
Yes, we have a free private, fenced-in car park, exclusively for our guests. You can reserve it before your arrival.
Is there a covered space for bicycles?
Yes, we have a special space for bicycles.
Is it necessary to book accommodation in advance?
Yes, it is necessary to book in advance.
Can I pay by credit card?
Yes, we accept payments by credit cards, too.
What is the time for check-in and check-out?
Check-in for individual guests is after 2pm, check-out by 10am. For groups by prior arrangement.
Can I enter freely during the night?
Is the House open all year?
Availability depends on our spiritual programmes, which are the core activity of the House. When it is not hosting its programmes, the House is open to other guests. To check availability you can contact us at email@example.com.
